Preview AI (“we”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights. We process CV content to provide the service; if you use an account, we store your CV and account data as described below.

2. Data we collect
We may collect: (a) Account data: if you register — email address and hashed password. (b) CV and profile data: content you enter or upload (name, contact details, work history, education, skills, photo, etc.) to build your CV. (c) Usage data: when you use the service we may process your CV text for AI analysis and PDF generation. (d) Technical data: IP address, browser type, and similar data for security and operation. (e) Download logs: if you have an account, we may log PDF downloads to enforce usage limits.
3. How we use your data
We use your data to: provide and operate the CV builder; analyze and enhance your CV content using AI (e.g. Azure OpenAI); generate PDFs and cover letters; manage your account and authentication; enforce download limits where applicable; improve the service and security; and comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal basis (EEA/UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK: we process your data on the basis of contract (to provide the service), consent where we ask for it, and legitimate interests (security, analytics, improvement). You may withdraw consent or object where applicable and have the rights set out in section 8.
5. Who we share data with
We may share data with: (a) Service providers that process data on our behalf (e.g. cloud hosting, AI processing such as Azure OpenAI). They act as processors under our instructions. (b) Authorities when required by law. We do not sell your personal data.
6. Retention
We retain your data only as long as needed: account and CV data for as long as your account exists (you can request deletion); download logs for the period needed to enforce limits; technical and security logs as required by law or our policies. After deletion or account closure, we remove or anonymize data within a reasonable time.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location you may have the right to: access your data; correct or update it; request deletion; restrict or object to processing; data portability; withdraw consent; and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. 8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures (including encryption, access controls, and secure processing) to protect your data. No system is completely secure; we encourage strong passwords and prompt reporting of any suspected breach.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
We may use essential cookies and local storage for session management, authentication, and preferences. We may use analytics to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
10. International transfers
Your data may be processed in Myanmar and in other countries where our service providers operate (e.g. Microsoft Azure). Where we transfer data from the EEA/UK, we rely on adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or other lawful mechanisms.
11. Children
Our service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have collected a child's data, please contact us so we can delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
